paintquestion
Hi everyone, I am trying to select my orange blobs but when I use the magic wand to subtract the area, I lose some of my blobs. Any ideas on how I can select them without losing parts? Thanks.
Solution BlastOfBN Posted February 10, 2023 Solution Share Posted February 10, 2023 Have you tried adjusting the tolerance of the magic wand?

Or, magic wand select the white area (between the orange blobs--adjusting tolerance as necessary) and press Ctrl+I to invert your selection. 1 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
BlastOfBN
Adding onto what @BoltBait said, from my experiences, simply selecting the background is the quickest and most effective way to delete a background and still have objects in the foreground intact. But once again, tinker around with the tolerance if necessary, until you get your desired results.

I ask because, depending on what you want to do, there may be a better method than using the Magic Wand.

Try it with a Tolerance of 25% to 30% depending on how tightly you want to select the blobs. paintquestion
Thanks everyone for the help. It was the tolerance that was the solution.
