Make an Animated .GIF with Paint.NET

Well...all these fancy animations are wonderful!

All I'm trying to do is make a simple one...

I want a static picture with the words changing to another set of words. then repeating the first set of words..that's it.

What is happening (I'm using the unfreeze program) is the picture jumps..

here is what I did.

gif1 - first pic and words

gif2 - same pic and different words

How else should I do this?

Thanks in advance to a novice at this.

i have done the animated part but how do you do the revolving sphere?

Mrmagoo144

To make the revolving sphere, use the shape 3d plug-in.

Rotate the sphere 5 degrees for every frame, and name each frame the amount of rotation so its easy to keep track of them (i.e. frame 1 is .005, 2 is .010, 3 is .015) 71 frames for full 360 degrees, have fun, I'll never do it again.

One of the drawbacks about UnFreeze's simplicity is that you have to do every individual frame. So, if you wanted to make it fade you would have to make, say 12 frames, each gradually approaching the desired result. This "drawback," however, does allow for a lot of freedom as far as doing ... well, any animation you have the time/patience for.

For example, this image I made for my friend's website is about 20-30 frames.

Or my halloween sig, which is about 20 frames if I recall.

Do me a favor:

If you have a link to an alternative GIF Animator, post it here (after this post - I don't feel like going through every post and looking for them) or PM me.

I'm going to add a list of other animators to the first post.

PS: I got the link from the previous post already (Adamodell) and one from the first page (trickman).
