Buttons don't work in 5.0.1

I have downloaded the latest version, I cannot get on with it🤥

it possible to revert back to  paint.net 4.3.12???

step by step info please, becuase if it doesn't work when I press the buttons, I'm lost

Unless you still have the 4.3.12 installer, it is not possible for you to revert to the earlier version.

What are the things in v5.x that you cannot get on with compared to your use of 4.3.12 please?
If you could explain clearly what the problem are, then people may be able to assist in your use of v5.

It is not possible to install older versions -- they are not supported in any way, which includes providing the downloads for them.

 

And like @Tactilis says, we need more information to help you. What exactly is going wrong or not working? Your description is unfortunately very vague, it's not giving us much to work with.
