Yata
The one near the bottom is a little flat. Use the lens plugin. maxst2
My planet that goes kersploded. Planet had 4 layers, and the background has 4 as well. If you look close you can see the stars all over, and in the planet. I thought it gave it a more particle explosion. Loved the tut. thanks for info ya'll. pyrochild
Hefem, please try to keep your embedded pictures no bigger than 640x480-ish. If you really want to have something bigger, just post a link rather than the whole image. After all, side-scrolling makes BoltBait a sad panda. Decoy
This is my attempt, plus some extra steps. It doesn't have quite enough landmass to be a planet on the verge of explosion, looks more like one that has just exploded.
EvilNeko
Thats awesome ^^ But....Can you try to change the Levels to give it color? It would make it seem realistic, maybe turn hte white into red, orange, and yellow, like flames? ~EvilNeko
Decoy
Coloured as best I can manage (at least without hours of further messing around):
FireFly
Use curves for coloring things like that. It will look more realistic and have a larger range of colours.
EvilNeko
Apparently you can't reopen .gif files once you save them in PDN. . . soo...best I could do, without scrapping it and restarting..which i still might do. ~EvilNeko
