cweber54
This is something I just did based on your ideas from this tutorial. I used a photo of part of a frozen stream in my backyard. I guess it's kind of a frozen planet thing? It was fun to make. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm still getting things figured out and having loads of fun with PDN along the way. cweber54
I really like this tutorial! Here I used a picture I took last summer of mushrooms in an outdoor market in Chinatown, New York City. It turned out to be perfect for this tutorial! I like the big chunks. Thanks again for this tutorial, it's a winner.
skullbonz
Try some pictures of rock faces for the planets and alter the colors first to get the look you want before blowing it up,lol Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery

GMac
Helloman892 I really like the use of red in your image, but I think the edge of your planet is perhaps a little too defined.
Helloman892
@GMac Yeah, I thought so too. I really cannot be bothered to go back to it now - we've another heatwave here. Khudozhnik
Here's mine. The only difference I made was, instead of using ellipse tool, I used Shape3D, and added some noise in the background.

Rickhum
Very nice Tut. I've been able to tweak it in small ways to get literally dozens of different outcomes. I've got a major thing about exploding planets and this tut has sorted me right out. tuvm PC. 1 Quote “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see further.” ― Thomas Carlyle
