Buffalopride
Just started using pdn a couple days ago. Love this program. Thought I'd try this and see what happens, so here it is.
SmooK
this is mine, i used LENS instead of BULGE. Edit: now i am using sea sand wich is in water.
becauseiwantedto
This has to be the all-time most used effect by new users, because I met 5 other people at school who use this forum, and they all did this effect first. Amazing tutorial, thanks. Quote  Changed the text in the signature yay! PDN gallery!
NathansMommy727
VERY nice and easy tut. I liked my result so much that I used it for my desktop! Here's what I got: Quote My DA ^_^ My photos
serenbren
I'm brand new to Paint.Net and think this tut is excellent, it's really versatile. I've had no success using a lightning photo (it ends up a complete blur or a clear disk), but this is the effect I got with water droplets
ptuZ
really good turtorial. I used the conditional hue/saturation plugin to get another color and here is my work. Quote My Forum Gallery My dA Gallery Graffiti tutorial

Insomniac
Nice, simple tutorial. I'm pretty new with PDN, and this has taught me a bit about blending modes. I'm using this as my desktop wallpaper at the moment (hence the 1680x1050 res) The only thing I did differently to the tutorial was to use shape3d instead of bulge. TruePaintNetta
I have three different outcomes. AND HERE IS MY FAVOURITE ONE (nuclear explosion)
tulip
If you can't find mud you can use the fire effect or the clouds effect and crop a circle out of it. It works the same. I imagine this is what the sun would look like as it explodes sometime next year... Ethan the Great
Repeating steps 10-15 will get your image a few seconds further into the destruction of your unfortunate little planet.
Ethan the Great
Besides that, here's how mine turned out. Allow me to say that I've never felt confident posting an image on the internet until I got Paint.NET. It's a great program.
