GooseGuy
When using paint.net, i've sometimes found it inconvenient to click the settings icon to rename a layer, so here is my suggestion: When pressing F2 on a selected layer, pop up the layer settings window. Because the text in the popup is auto-selected, nothing more has to happen. I don't know how much time and effort there has to go into this to make it work, even though it doesn't seem to be that hard from a users-perspective. This is a small suggestion, and i don't absolutely need it now. No need to prioritize this. Greet, GooseGuy.

Ego Eram Reputo
7 hours ago, midora said: F4 Also.... double-click on the layer name in the Layers Window! PRO-TIP: You don't need to select the layer name to type in something new as the text box will have the focus. Just start typing when the dialog opens Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
