A really nice tutorial! wonderful introduction to how shape 3D works.

My two attempts:

for the bottom one I tried to imitate the hazardous waste symbol.

at the beginning of this tut someone mentioned how about a pool ball?

ive started with an 8 ball here...

anybody know how the "8" could be created :?

i tried but couldnt figure it out :(

how far do you come down in the first step using the gradient ? and i have more of a blend [fade] in my gradient between the black & white that what yours looks like. i did set the alpha.....thanks

hi im new i cant seem to find the gradient bar thing and panelling it took me like an hour still cant find it

You can't find that gradient thing? The icon looks like.. this.. :GradientTool:

One tip- when you are making the "smoky effects" on the eye, try lowering the alpha of your primary color so it isn't as solid.

Is there a way to use the Shape3D's settings to make the image turn left or right little by little (once the eye is done) without distorting the quality of it, so that the eye can be animated to be turning to one side? Or do we have to create different sets of eyes at different angles THEN animate it? :?
