How to start a fire with Paint.NET

Recommended Posts

Really cool! I`m not sure how to do the Ctrl+F to make it like do it again. Is that the same as Reseed? :?

By pressing Ctrl+F you are simply repeating the effect you just did, or you can do it the long way and go to the drop down effects menu and at the top it will say "Repeat Clouds" press that and it will repeat but Ctrl+F is much more easier

Hope this helps

Hey I'm new to Paint.NET but I would just like to say amazing tutorial. I really liked the effect. I messed around with it a bit and I got this...

Sorry if it's big...

What I did is just took a picture of a forest around the same size as the fire part. Added glow affect to the forest. Then set it the fire to overlay and the opacity of the forest to 128 or so.

Thanks,

Blank

That's the exploding planets tutorial. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

That looks good! And it's the right tutorial. Very nice.
