David A James
Does anyone know to to get Win11 File Explorer to show the icon correctly for .agif's. It shows .gifs 1st frame which is "ok"
Pixey
Hello @David A James and welcome to the forum I don't know about Windows 11, but I have Windows 10 and the .agif file has never shown a 'picture' per se, but usually a blank image: Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. midora
Because .agif is handled from a plugin you have to install a shell extension to get a thumbnail of an image in the shell (the explorer). Yippy and thank you @midora I learned something new today 😁 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. David A James
I have downloaded the ImXYZ.Thumbnail.dll Installer v1.0.zip and ImAGIF.Thumbnail v1.0.zip I placed the ImAGIF.Thumbnail.dll into the installer dir and ran the ImXYZ.Thumbnail.dll Installer.exe which did indeed display the ImAGIF.Thumbnail to be installed which I did. However I still cannot see the .agif in Win 11 Explorer other than the screen shot I initially posted. No 1st frame or anything... Maybe this doesn't work with Win 11? Looked really promising!
