Microsoft Store - Azure AD Users

I tried to pay for Paint.NET via the Microsoft Store but found out that anyone who uses an Office 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E3 (business subscriptions) with an Azure AD registered account, (needed as your login account to activate and use Windows subscriptions), cannot sign in to the Windows 11 Microsoft Store (and the soon to be released Windows 10 store upgrade).

Therefore we cannot purchase anything from the store! 

Quite ridiculous in my view and there is lots of negative chatter about this on the web; this is a big change with no clear way forward. Luckily I installed the desktop version and all is fine.

Just thought you should all know because Microsoft is making things extremely difficult in my view, here is a recent post on the issue:
