ASG
Hi everyone, thanks to all developers, you know if you add "New via Clipboard" option to Paint.net then it will really become no 1 graphical app for most end users like me, and also we would love to support the app if it becomes no 1, now many users i know using FireAlpaca not because it is better, but because it has the "New via Clipboard" option. Thanks again
Rick Brewster
It already exists. Edit -> Paste into New Image (Ctrl +Alt + V) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

About time the world comes to their senses and abandons photoshop in favor of paint.net. We've been waiting 2 decades for them to realize this feature 😛
Rick Brewster
Paste into New Image has been there for at least 13 years Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
NinthDesertDude
Oh for sure. But if it's been exactly 13, that's the same year I started using paint.net.
Rick Brewster
The earliest mention in the change logs is v3.5.1 with a bugfix, but I think it was added in 3.5 released in November 2009. Disk4mat
Didnt want to start a new thread for this question. Is there a simple kb shortcut to 'empty clipboard'? Same topic, wouldnt mind an option to empty the cb on exit. Edit In case someone else can use it... Create a new desktop shortcut and for the target use the following %windir%\System32\cmd.exe /c "echo off | clip" Name the new shortcut Clear Clipboard or anything you like. Rick Brewster
That's not really something that needs to be done in Paint.NET. You can find or write an external program to empty the clipboard. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
