Transforming a rectangle into a circle

Hello,

 

I don't know if what I want is possible, but I need to transform a rectangle into a circle.

What I mean specifically:
I want one length of the rectangle to correspond to the circumference, the height to correspond to the radius and the other length to be reduced to the centre.

Attached is a visualisation.

I couldn't find a plug-in for that problem, is this even possible?

circumference = rectangle perimeter?

radius = short side of rectangle

....do you mean Diameter = long side of rectangle?

 

School Trig:  circumference of a circle = 2PiRadius or PiDiameter

 

Your short side will need to be perimeter/2Pi

 

Is this a math problem or are you transforming an actual image?
