Hello,

 

Can anyone please tell how to go about creating images like this, like which plugins would be best to create three images and any advice/tips would be appreciated.

It's not clear what you're asking.

Do want help with achieving a Neon effect?  or something else?

Hello again,

 

Thank you for the neon edges as it will good be to have and use. But I guess what I am lookimg for is the ability to outline the nations in neon, and then overlay the different layers to get the same 3D effect, as the image from the movie.

1. Black background
2. Outline the nations edges with neon colors
3. Create a Blue grid overlay, to give the picture a 3D look and feel
4. Create Missile tracking, and other things like submarines.
5. Creat a template to use these images on a 3D model, (Sketchup 2017).

I guess tracing/drawing may be the answer and done in stages with layers.

 

This Plugin Shapemaker is very handy for this.
