HELPINSTALL
I had to reset my PC. and this means that I had to redownload all of my plugins for paint.net. I accidentally pressed the install all button on a plugin pack and decided to just reinstall paint.net instead of manually deleting the plugins I didn't want. I uninstalled paint.net and noticed that the paint.net folder was still there, so I thought it would be a good idea to manually delete the folder. Now when I try to install paint.net it says "fatal error during installation". Is there a way that I can fix this?
Solution toe_head2001 Posted July 9, 2022 Solution Share Posted July 9, 2022 Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
