Penspinning

Recommended Posts

Don't know what penspinning is?

A friend of mine from another school told me about penspinning during the 4th grade and tried to teach me how but failed miserably and gave up for a year. Now that we're in the same class again (We're supposed to stay in one class for the whole day 'cept breaks since the teachers go to our classrooms), I'm trying to learn how to penspin.

During one of our subjects, our English teacher was amazed that my friend could do penspinning quite fast and gave up 10 minutes of her class just to learn how to penspin. We ended up having no quiz so it was rescheduled to next week. :D

-------

Now, what is your view of penspinning? Is it waste of time if you spend your whole day penspinning when you could be going outside or you don't mind as it's a good hobby and it won't really hurt your social life?

I concur, yeah i pen spin when i'm thinking its not a waste of time. Twiddling your thumbs or biting your nails. I didnt even know what its called until i saw the article. Sorry, but this is a pretty weak debate.

Nah, no need for a locking, merely a title edit.

By jingo! It's like magic, it is!

If the discussion truly dries up, you'll find this will bury itself within days.

Good Lord. These things have names!?

Anyway, I can do the....Charge....thing. It's not a waste of time, it gives you something to do when you're doing homework, taking a test, etc.

I don't know the name... it's made up of a few. Grab the pen at the end with your thumb and your forefinger, and hold it vertically. Space out your fingers just a tad, so the pen pivots down. As it does, pass your middle finger under it, catch it between your forefinger and your middle finger towards the bottom still, make it turn 360 counterclockwise, catch it between your middle finger and your ring finger, bring it back up, catch the bottom between your forefinger and your thumb, repeat.

I have a friend who uses this little stick with huge balls at the end for spinning. It's ridiculously easy to do basically anything with. I did a 2520° thumbspin with it, and I can't do a double with a normal pen.
