HappyMac Posted May 15, 2022 Share Posted May 15, 2022 (edited) Hi, I am unable to install Paint.net version 4.3.10 on Windows 7 64-bit. I checked and made sure that I am using the last Windows 7-compatible version (4.3.x series). I am using the offline installer. The program shows a brief extraction window, then this error. I have tried running the .exe from the Desktop and the root of the C drive. I have also tried running it in Safe Mode. I still get the same error. I have also run the Microsoft installer troubleshooter cabfile linked in the FAQ. Still the same error. EDIT: I tried the web installer and got the same lengthy error, plus an additional, shorter one after the program quit. The error code given was (-2147467259). Would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain this error and point towards a solution. Thank you in advance.
