corndog
hi i am new to this type of stuff, and am trying to remove the backgrounds from pictures and drawings. i followed the tut and get to the point where i use the magic wand to select the inside then press ctrl i to invert and then select the outside with the magic wand and hit delete. the outside does not delete? i did one with no second layer and it seemed to work but then you have no layer to delete the drawn lines around the edge of the picture. i am beating my head against the wall trying to figure out what i am doing wrong...Please help me!! thanks
Max Power
If you want to delete the outside of the selection, invert the selection and go down on the actual layer where you want to delete the background.
