BlendOp
Hi there, Paint.net is my go-to to annotate screenshots of Windows or other things I'm working on, to highlight sections, point arrows, etc. The usual procedure is to grab an image to clipboard open Paint.Net CTRL-N (which reads the clipboard image dimensions) which then replaces the default empty image (it's great that it does that!) CTRL-P to paste my clipboard image. It'd save me the CTRL-N if Paint.net's default empty image dimensions were already based off the clipboard image (if any) dimensions. Alternatives might be, like Affinity Photo - which doesn't start with a default image; the CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-N keyboard shortcut that simply creates a new image with the contents of the clipboard.
