d0reo
Is there any way to change transparency grid? Or a plugin? I know the workaround but still, I would prefer to not have to do it every time I want to work with white stuff.
HyReZ
I don't understand your question. The default background color for Paint.NET is solid white. A background is ether transparent, translucent, or solid. If your background is transparent or translucent it will save as solid white if you save as a jpeg. If you want to have a different color background use the fill tool to fill the background with that color before starting your drawing. There is no transparency in the background of a jpeg image. If you want to save a png file without transpareny just turn off transpareny before saving. Transparency is the main purpose of layering images. Dahoom
they mean this: i have also been looking across the forum for any method to make it dark without needing to add a new dark layer every time i wanna check a mostly light texture (because if im just viewing a monochrome dds for example it makes it impossible to see most detail unless i add a new black layer and move it below, and any kind of edit will make paint.net prompt me to save when i close it, which gets pretty annoying when you wanna look at a lot of files closely). i haven't found a way to disable the save confirmation yet. You'll be able to make it lighter or darker. *v5.0 will preview mid November with a release planned by end of year. 1 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
