djb-side
Hello all, I am looking for a function or a plugin in which I can store/collect my own and always needed graphics in order to be able to retrieve them quickly. These are usually small graphics (PNG). Do any of you have an idea how or with what this can be done? Thank you in advance for your help. Many greetings Andreas Edited February 18, 2022 by djb-side
Pixey
Hello @djb-side and welcome to the forum Perhaps this Plugin would do the job: Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. AndrewDavid
Hi @djb-side Simply create a folder named graphics on your desktop and store your images/pngs/graphics there. Easy to remember and easy to navigate to. Hope this helps
HyReZ
@AndrewDavid That is eactly what I do. I have folders named Watermarks, Tiles, My_Images and Backgrounds just for this puppose. You can add sub-folders as I do within the My_Images folder. Edited February 18, 2022 by HyReZ
Red ochre
And/or, when you have created your folder of often used images, right click on it and choose 'Pin to Quick access' so it is always at the top of the explorer folder list. 1 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. ardneh
You could store them as layers in a .pdn file.
djb-side
Hi all and thanks for your suggestions. I'm rather looking for a tool that I can show on the left like the standard tools to be able to quickly drag and drop the required graphics from there into the open document. AndrewDavid
@djb-side That would be Layers\Import from File. No keyboard shortcut. No floating toolbar. Can't add to the existing layer. As good as it gets I believe.

Rick Brewster
No; that's just how menus work in Windows. You press Alt, and then it underlines the character that you press to open the menu. Then when the menu is drawn it underlines the letters again ...
