MrBlueSky
Hi, I am unable to delete the folder & contents that were created when I unzipped the installer. I get this error popup: "Folder access denied: You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder paint.net.4.3.7.install.anycpu.web" And of course, when I click continue, it just keeps popping the same thing. Could someone provide some easy to follow instructions on how to overcome this please? Thank you
Pixey
Hello @MrBlueSky and welcome You posted twice, so I deleted the duplicated post. Why are you trying to delete the installer? Do you want to remove Paint.net? IHaveNoName
It likely is not a PDN issue. That message is one of the occasional big annoyances you get with some files/folders even when you are the admin. Another typical message is it's " ....in use by another program...." but Windows does not 'think' to be helpful and tell you what that is. In this case, (that's the online installer I believe), I'd guess the installer is accessing something online. Quick thing to try is simply to restart the PC and try to delete it again, maybe disconnect your PC from the internet first.
