How do I open a .tga file with all the color?

Whenever I open a .tga file I always end up with what seems to be a mask layer of the image, I'm still not even sure of that. In the Windows preview of the file it has color and what not. Has this happened before?

Please upload one of the files (if it is family-friendly) so that this can be investigated.

The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait
