AlexiaGrey
I am working in layers. I am trying to create a new flyer for a skating party combo dance off! I used one layer for our logo and wanted to do each part (graphic or text) we add in its own layer so that I can mess with it a bit to get it the way I want it to be before blending them all together. Nothing I have done has gotten the text (font) to appear on my screen! I don't understand why it isn't showing up. Please advise! Thanks so much for your help! Ego Eram Reputo
Is your text layer below another layer? If so, does the higher layer have transparent areas for the text to show through (look for the gray/white crosshatched pattern, it denotes transparency)? If your text layer is below another, the higher one might be covering the text. Try moving the text layer to the top of the stack of layers. Alternatively, try this: Add a new layer - on top of all the rest. Make sure that layer is selected and that it is transparent (see tip above)Select a primary color of your choice.Click on the text toolClick on the image where you wish your text to appearType. david.atwell
You also may have made the text color the same as the background color. Be sure to check that.
