toe_head2001
PNG files don't support layers, so the image will need to be flattened. You can unflatten the image in the editor after the PNG file has been created. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
midora
What do you expect to happen if the image has multiple layers? PNG forma doesn't support layers.
BoltBait
After saving as .PNG just press the Ctrl-Z key to Undo the flatten. Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
ardneh
Copy Image: Ctrl Shift C Paste into New Image: Ctrl Alt V Save new image as PNG. Leaves original PDN file untouched.
Reptillian
I can't speak for @Rick Brewster, but in theory it should be possible to make a flattened copy automatically and use said copy to save as .png at the internal level. This is observed with other art software. Just Cntrl+Z after saving. Not convenient, yes, but it'll do. IHaveNoName
I just save as a .PDN file first then re-save as a .PNG, usually adding WIP (Work In Progress) to the name. But I've never had any trouble just saving as a WIP .PNG to see what it looks like at the final resolution/size I'm intending to use then unflattening it to continue with the job.
