toe_head2001
You need to move the OptionBasedLibrary files into the Effects folder. hanspeter
Thank you, toe_head2001, I did so. But the result is the same. No TEXTFORMATIONS >CIRCLE TEXT found. More suggestions? /hans peter

Did you re-start PDN after you put the Circle Text .dll plus the Optional Based Library dll's into the Effects folder? hanspeter
Yes, Pixey, I did. I can tell you about another curious circumstance in this context. As early as 2015, I got help with handling the circle text function. And than it worked really well. When I now want to use it again, it no longer exists. Nor will I get it to start again. Can this give a clue to an action? /hans peter

This may be a case of you having two Effects Folders on your computer. Can you locate where your Effects folder is on your computer, and are you using the Classic version, or the store bought? Ego Eram Reputo
Is CircleText.dll inside the Effects folder? If not - move it there & restart Paint.NET. hanspeter
Hi Pixey and Ego Eram Reputo! "and are you using the Classic version, or the store bought?" I am not quite shure. I have a paid invoice from Microsoft Payments, but do not remember if I changed my primary classic version against the bought one. Can I see in the program somewhare what version I have? "Can you locate where your Effects folder is on your computer" I found these two places: The first one contains also a lot of other dll:s. Among others CircleText.dll /hans peter

The Store version requires them to be put in a different location. Please see the instructions for how to, half way down the page. https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. otuncelli
CircleText plugin doesn't need OptionBasedLibrary.
hanspeter
My solution: 1) Uninstall paint.net (Storebought) 2) Install paint.net (Classic) 3) Install dpyplugins8.1 The whole works nice! 👌 /hans peter
