How to outline all objects in bmp using plugin

I want to outline all the objects in a bmp file using plugins. Doing it manually takes lot of time. Is there any plugin that will do it automatically

This plug-in will allow you to outline objects. You will need to download the plug in pack. Note that there needs to be a transparent background in the layer for this to work. I hope this helps.

Have your solid objects on a transparent layer and set the color to whatever you want, then use the Object Outline on the same layer.

You are probably having trouble because that plugin requires the shapes to be surrounded by transparent pixels in order to work.

 

You could use the magic wand 🪄 to shift-click the white area to select it and then press the delete key to remove it before running the plugin.

If you have my plugin pack installed, you can do it this way:

 

1. Use the magic wand to shift-click the white area to select it.

2. Use the Effects > Selection > Outline Selection plugin with the "Preserve Canvas Edges" checkbox checked.

Hello,

I have a question regarding the outline plugins. When used on a translucent object, the outline is drawn around the edges but it also darkens the inside of the object. Would it be possible to add a feature as to draw the outline without darkening the translucent object?

Select the object using Magic Wand then use Outline Selection plugin.

After that you can use Feather Object plugin.
