midora
Looks like VS 2019 only supports preview versions of net6 but not the release one (and they are not compatible). I hope that I can install VS 2019 and VS 2022 side-by-side without destroying my installation. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/install/install-visual-studio-versions-side-by-side Did someone already tried this? toe_head2001
Yeah, I have both installed. In the past, I also had 2017 and 2019 installed side-by-side. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
BoltBait
Yeah, I've never had a problem installing multiple versions of Visual Studio side-by-side. Rick Brewster
Works fine here for me too, although VS gets suuuuper cranky and buggy if you switch a solution between .NET Framework and .NET 5/6 or vice versa. This can happen to me if I need to jump into my 4_2_16 branch, for instance. It's much better to make a copy of the whole git repo for that situation.
