Fallouter
Hello! I tested installation files of Paint.net with Virus Total. It detects some viruses in installation files from some chinese antiviruses and malwarebytes. Is this false positive? Or a real threat? Rick Brewster
False positive. Most of these false positives are based on heuristics, and they often just detect a self-extracting EXE as a "virus". Windows Defender is the one to trust. Every other AV / anti-malware is really not useful, and often a racket. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
