Xanius
As I find no matching forum, I post my feedback here. If anyone has a suggestion where the right place to post is, I would be glad to know! There is a bug and some, close to prohibitive, nuisances in the registration dialog for the forum. The Bug: If the answer to the security question is perceived false, all subsequent answers will also be reparted as false, no matter what. (I'v tried them all, believe me, several times). I had to restart the browser and start over again to pass the anti-robot-question. The Nuisances: 1. Some of the questions are ambiguous: E.g. Lexically correct answers to one of the questions 'none', 'zero', '0' (and possibly some more) 2. The question referring to a misspelled word is difficult for non-native speakers (and of course the dyslectic). 3. a standard QWERTY-Keyboard is not a standard keyboard everywhere. If someone could look over the code and the questions, it would be a great service to community. Not everyone is as stubborn as I am, most would probably give up and never join. It has been replaced. 5 hours ago, Xanius said: 3. a standard QWERTY-Keyboard is not a standard keyboard everywhere. The question is not a test of your knowledge. It's a test of comprehension, and your ability to find the answer. (i.e. looking down at a QWERY keyboard, doing an image web search, ect.) 5 hours ago, Xanius said: If the answer to the security question is perceived false, all subsequent answers will also be reparted as false, no matter what. This is not entirely correct. I have tested this, and the issue is with the Security Check (Jigsaw Puzzle), not the Security Questions.
