Hi,

When right clicking > copy on an image in MS office (e.g. outlook, word) , then pasting into Paint.net, the image is enlarged;

e.g; enlarged image on the left(paint.net) and same image pasted into ms paint (right)

it's been happening for while - decided to try report it?

Regards,

Chris

What version of Paint.NET are you using?

Hi, the latest > 4.3.1 (as mentioned, this has been happening for a while now, possibly 1 or 2 years?) it's not serious, just an annoyance (i.e. I can get around it by another snip instead of copy/paste)

(Yeah I couldn't tell from the screenshot.) It's been awhile since I've looked into this, but it was clear when I did that it's actually a bug in Office. For some reason it places an enlarged image on the clipboard in a format that has higher priority than the non-enlarged version of the image.

okay interesting. It's weird though; even if you paste from your clipboard into gmail (browser), it is normal sized, but paste a second time into paint.net, same issue, it's slightly larger (I'd say around x1.3  bigger?)
