How do I bend my image?

I wanna make it seem like these letters are Mashed together and really cramped up. Is there any way to do this?

 

I'm looking for like a tool to bend shapes manually, so that I can have them look like they were smashed together.

 

Can someone help me on how to do this?

Something like this? Effects > Distort > Image Distortion...

You might try pyrochild's Grid Warp.

 

I suspect to mash the letters together, you'll have to remove the black background (so the background is transparent), put each letter in a separate layer,  individually distort them, merge the layers, then add a new black background.

It does work, not yet in the way I was hoping, but I'll thank you anyways.
I'll see if I can make it work the way I was intending
