Something similar to this photoshop video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCF5o_EzAIE I'm not asking for a video (though that would be nice) but just a tutorial on how to do something similar in Paint.net. You can then follow the OP's video to fill in the surrounding letters, which should be intuitive.
