jhinfour
Whenever I use these exact values in polar inversion tool it crashes. It never stops rendering the effect and wont allow me to cancel. This problem exists on every pc that I have therefore it has nothing to do with my hardware or any other software. Please patch this in the next update. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixcWo876umE 1
Ego Eram Reputo
Confirmed. This seems to be triggered at certain canvas sizes. I got it to repro at the size of 800px by 600px and a canvas double and half that size. I tried & failed on 1600x1200px canvas 400x300px 1000 x 600px 1920 x 1080px (from video) At these sizes you enter the twilight zone as stated above. Looking at these figures, I wonder if this is somehow related to width & height being even integers? 1000 x 601px worked fine. Rick Brewster
Confirmed, this repros for me too. It's not a crash, it's a stuck/infinite loop in WarpEffectBase::ReflectCoord() because of floating point precision. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Rick Brewster
BTW this is fixed in 4.3, which is currently in alpha. It's also 3x faster 😎 2 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
