toe_head2001
Correct, new layers are filled with Transparent White. If you delete all pixels in the layer, they will become Transparent Black. There's also a plugin that will do it: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/111800-transparent-to-transparent-black/ 1 Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. Ego Eram Reputo
FYI since 4.2.15 paint.net erases with transparent black. Ctrl + Shift +N (create new layer) Ctrl + A (select the entire layer) Delete (or Edit > Erase Selection) Quote List of changes since 4.2.14: ........ Fixed: Edit -> Erase Selection will now fill with transparent black (#00000000) instead of transparent white (#00FFFFFF) 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
