X.Hargreaves 0
Hello, I am just wondering if there is any easier way to round corners on an image, not the whole image, but selected things within the image that the corners need rounding off, currently I just use the brush tool as the same colour as the background as do it by hand. Just wondering if there was an easier more automated way which makes it perfectly rounded as by hand can only do so much. It would make my life a lot easier. Thanks
Reptillian 303
Try this https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/31574-radius-corners-v16-july-8-2018/ EDIT: Oh, you said not the whole image. Erm, I don't have an automated solution to that. A vector software can do it though, but don't really know of a way otherwise. Edited January 9 by Reptillian
X.Hargreaves 0
I have got that installed, it rounds the corners of the whole image as opposed to the specific corners that i was rounding. Thanks
ardneh 45
So, could you copy/paste what you want to round into a new image, round it, and return it to the original project?
X.Hargreaves 0
no because it is within the image not the corners of that image, even if i scaled it to fit the borders of the image
ardneh 45
I had assumed that you were working on corner-rounding a rectangular object on its own layer. If so, you could copy/paste into a new image, crop to eliminate the surrounding alpha, round corners, then copy/paste back to the original project. If you are not working on corner-rounding a rectangular object on its own layer, please clarify. =========================================== I installed the plugin. It does respect a selection. So, select the object, run the effect. That is, if you are working on corner-rounding a rectangular object on its own layer. Edited January 9 by ardneh
Zagna 97
Something like that?
ardneh 45
If the video shows what you want to do, this is another option: Make a rectangular selection, run the Radius Corners plugin effect, invert selection. Ctrl i Press Delete. (This is not the process shown in the video, but gives the same result.)
