I made this with this free software: https://people.eecs.berkeley.edu/~sequin/SCULPTS/scherk.html

Dip, I just downloaded and tried this out.  I could sit here for hours playing with this!

How do you find these things??   Pretty cool, I say.   Thanks!   ;)

@Seerose or @dipstick

I too downloaded the software and it works fine. I have not been able to figure out how to save or export the sculpture I create. What extension should I give the image when I save?

When I export it with the STL format I can view it online at another website - but how do I make the transition to a GIF file?

Any hints would be appreciated B)

Great work Seerose....

The only way I've found to export image or animation sequence is to screen capture. You can use "PrintScreen" if you'd like and paste it in PDN to crop or create an animated gif by taking a series of screen caps while rotating the sculpture on it's axis  every 5 or 10 degrees or so.

Yes, I think that is the only way.  I have discovered if you save your project in the .STL format and have Windows 10, you can open it in 3D Builder and further manipulate it.

Thanks for the link Dip!   :D

Thank you @lynxster4 .

With Win10 I can take it to the next step - import into Paint3D and save as PNG. Lets see what I can create. B)

Screen Captures seem so tedious @dipstick.

The only software out there that will do the conversion is a free trial that will eventually want some payment. For now.

Lets see what the future brings.

I'm working on an STL file loader for paint.net. It's still a long way off, so don't hold your breath.

That would be great EER!  Thank you!  :)

Dear Paint.net Family! <3

This gif picture I did not make.
I found in the internet.
Because I liked it so much, I would like to share it with you.
Thank you for your understanding and efforts.
