Obviously inspired by Akiyoshi Kitaoka, Kaia’s works show homage to a great japanese professor, further enhancing professor’s famous illusory patterns. Tunnel Vision is just one of Kaia’s works. This static piece immediately draws you inside it, and at the same time produces a feeling you’re flying right trough the tunnel! I told you it was a trick. If you focus on just one of the floating dots, you’ll see they don’t change color or course at all. Each individual one remains in the exact same place and stays the same color. It’s simply the motion that tells your brain that they’re spinning and color-shifting.
