joelchen
Dear Paint.NET Developers, I have enjoyed Paint.NET very much. It is a great replacement for Photoshop and GIMP, and I often prefer to use it because of its fast loading speed and its efficiency in getting my job done. I have been looking for a function to get images cropped of transparent/white or plain-coloured pixels on the 4 sides of the picture. I'm currently using GIMP just for this feature. I hope this feature can be incorporated in the next version of Paint.NET so that I can get all my work done with just one software. Thank you for your great efforts put into Paint.NET! Simon Brown
Select the magic wand tool, set tolerance to one, select top side then hold down Ctrl and select the other sides. Press Ctrl + I and then Image -> Crop to Selection.
Crimson
Do you mean you want to crop one pixel off of each side of the image? If so, go to Image > Canvas Size, lower both width and height by 2 pixels, and select the Middle position in the Anchor section.
