WormChickenWizard
Are there any plans to add support for windows 10 dark mode to the win32 version of paint.net? Especially when the application looks like this when its on: Edited November 21, 2020 by WormChickenWizard
Rick Brewster
It already has dark mode support -- notice how everything is, well, dark. You'll have to be specific if there's anything you're noticing that isn't working how you expect. Maybe it can be improved on by having the dropdowns be completely dark and the top of the windows dark as well? They are drawn by the OS and it's wildly complicated to override that. Possible, yes, but honestly not worth it. As for the window titles, you just have to change your Windows Color settings to enable "Show accent color on ... Title bars and window borders" 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
pavlik1307
If I am not mistaken, paint.net is written in WinForms. It would be possible to reskin everything if paint.net was written in WPF. For example, here is my program written in WPF.
Rick Brewster
I'm not rewriting Paint.NET in WPF. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
