Thinkr8 Posted November 7, 2020 Share Posted November 7, 2020 (edited) I'm very disappointed, the .exe (Free Version 4.2.14) wouldn't save an image. After confirming to save the entire program freezes, but I can close from the save exit dialog box. I'm running Windows 10 20H2 and now the payed Win10 App version 4.2.14 isn't saving images either. And I have NetFx 4.8.04084 I don't want to ask for a refund because I use PDN often and I like it a lot. Please help me and please get this issue fixed, thank you. Rick Brewster Posted November 7, 2020 Share Posted November 7, 2020 Usually when there's a problem like this when saving it's due to something else in the system, not Paint.NET itself Here's what we need to look into this: 1) Diagnostics info. In the app, go to Settings (gear icon at top right of main window) -> Diagnostics, then click on Copy to Clipboard. Paste the contents into a reply here. This will let us know some information about your system, including any other stuff that's getting loaded into the process. 2) Where are you saving to? As in, what folder and what type of folder? And by that I mean, is it on the local hard drive, external hard drive, a network share, a cloud sync folder (e.g. Dropbox, OneDrive), or something else? 3) What type of image are you saving, and what settings are you using in the Save Configuration dialog?
