iSee
How can I get gradients on text without tearing up the image?
Crimson
Expiration was the first to pioneer/explain this trick. [*:31wqkk2e]Write the text on a new layer with one of the colors you want.[*:31wqkk2e]Duplicate the layer.[*:31wqkk2e]Use Hue/Saturation or Recolor to color the top layer to your other color. [*:31wqkk2e]Use a transparent gradient ( :AllColorChannels:  :AlphaChannel: ) and draw a gradient on the top layer as you would want it to appear. It's a little troublesome, but it gets rid of the aliasing problem without having to go through excessive feathering, which makes it looks over-blurry anyway.
