lycan
thanks for your reply. I'm not interested in developing a plugin. All I want is to add a new button to the Tools(F5) bar and add a click event to it that will drop a image (stored in resources) onto the current workspace

All I want is to add a new button to the Tools(F5) bar and add a click event to it that will drop a image (stored in resources) onto the current workspaceYou want to hardcode a brand new button to a stored resource? Why not just use File > Open? That would be a lot easier than playing with the source to PDN. You _could_ drop an image onto the canvas with a plugin though, but as you said - you don't want to go there. ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
