paul.de.block
Paint.net is extremely slow. I admit I use 16384 x 16384 px images, but that doesn't justify a morning during time elapse to load a picture. I suppose the slow down is due to the undo function. Is there any way I can ommit this function. I'll be very carefully when it's not activated and even if I have to start again, it will take me much less time to correct my mistake than to use the undo function (or to wait for its cache). Ego Eram Reputo
Hi Paul & welcome to the forum. Your first step should be to show us your system specs (from Settings > Diagnostics). Rick has put a lot of effort into making pdn faster and more responsive, especially when working with large images. If you can give us the above info we might be able to figure out where the bottleneck is. Rick Brewster
Yeah we need to know your system specs and what version of the app you're using. I recently put in some major optimizations to the performance of undo/redo. If you're still on a system with an HDD, then you need to upgrade that to an SSD. I do not optimize for HDDs anymore.
