Brush types? (Not soft brushes) and custom pallete without editing files

Recommended Posts

I hate to compare MS Paint to paint.net but..

MS Paint has custom brushes built-in like watercolor brushes/crayon
As of now, paint.net only has paintbrush and pencil. Thats it.

I'm not asking for a plugin though, im asking why not implement this into the main program?

Also, why not a custom colors, paint.net has this, but it doesn't make it so you can make the color, then put it into the pallete without changing the actual text file.

If you don't know what im talking about, check this video

Did you take the time to read the documentation?

Adding Colors to the Palette Add Color Icon

This icon is colored with the shade associated with the active color (Primary or Secondary).

Click the icon to add the active color to the palette. The icon will become highlighted and the palette surround will start to blink.  Click any location in the palette to replace the existing color with the new one.

Click the icon again to deselect it and exit the color insertion mode.

For the help files, press F1 inside Paint.NET or direct your browser to https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/index.html

There is also the excellent search feature here: https://www.getpaint.net/search.html. I suggest you use it judiciously before posting again.

Please also acquaint yourself with the forum rules.
