DragonLord_Z
How would one make the font glow bright, dim, then flash again, repeating in the same pattern?
david.atwell
You'll need an animation program like unFREEz. Paint.NET does not do animated GIFs. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
DragonLord_Z
I see, and how might I make it once I use that program?
worldnewser
Hi DragonLord_Z, welcome to the forums Flashing text, eh? Sounds like you want to make an animated .gif Here's a tut to help you out: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2492 Now to help you out with making a font glow bright, dim, and flash again, sounds like you're gonna want to make a lot of frames if you want a smooth transition. What I suggest is 1)Open your text 2)Duplicate your text layer and on the top layer and run effect-->Photo-->Glow 3)Follow the tuts directions under the heading "Fading an object in/out". Lowering the opacity by increments and saving at each point. Hope this helps EDIT:Sorta beat by David Quote deviantART Space and the Relative---Space Art Basics Tut (BETA)
DragonLord_Z
I think it worked. Now is there any way to put this onto something made in Paint.NET?
david.atwell
Yes, but it will no longer be animated. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
