Aqib Mehmood
Is there any tool or plugin for Paint.net that adds up the ability to automatically write the dimensions of a e.g Rectangle around the sides of the object , I know the dimensions for each object are shown at the bottom left but still it could be useful if I'm using Paint.net to draw the correct proportions of a sketch and I want to remember the dimensions of every particular aspect of the drawing . toe_head2001
Sorry, there is not. Plugins can't do that sort of thing. 27 minutes ago, Aqib Mehmood said: ... if I'm using Paint.net to draw the correct proportions of a sketch and I want to remember the dimensions of every particular aspect of the drawing . I suggest you add that kind of information into another layer. 1 Quote (June 9th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue. Aqib Mehmood
Thanks for the reply 😃 , I was already doing that and was so pissed off of adding info & switching between layers . Ego Eram Reputo
Have a look at Dimensions by BoltBait. It should make the process less painful. 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Djisves
Provided you keep each object on its own layer, you can type the dimensions in the layer name. I've used this trick in the past when quick reference to dimensions was important.

But , the problem is I want to use this for sketching .When I said "objects" I was referring to the "facial structures" , such as eyes , nose etc. 😄 Edited August 28, 2020 by Aqib Mehmood
