.NET framework initialization error

 I get this pop up when I try to open paint dot net. I don't know what it wants me to do or how to do it.

Yeah it looks like .NET itself may have been uninstalled, or corrupted somehow.

 

If you're not on Win10 (i.o.w. you're on 7, 8, 8.1), try reinstalling the .NET Framework. It's possible to uninstall it, which would certainly break Paint.NET.
