Fluent paint.net icon

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I want to share with you my take on redesigned paint.net icon which would fit better with new Microsoft's fluent icons.

I made two versions, first one more classic, second one simpler a bit more readable.

Can you produce a variant that is 24x24 (preferable based on your first image), so I can use it in my Taskbar?

Do you need precisely 24x24? Because the lowest I got is this 48x48.

Ideally, yes.

At 100% DPI, Windows 10 uses 24x24 icons for the Taskbar.  Windows 7/8/8.1 use 32x32 icons.

Not bad. Thank you.

Here's the Taskbar shortcut with the custom icon:

Note to others interested: It seems the Windows 10 Taskbar uses the "wrong" icon size. It chooses the 32x32 icon size, and then downsizes it to 24x24.
