How to Rotate without cutting the edges off [SOLVED]

When I rotate an image, such as an 8"x10" image, the new image will have the edges cut off. When I rotate am image, I expect the X and Y dimensions to increase to accommodate the whole rotated image. How can I get the program to NOT chop the edges off?

 

I'm using Version 4.2.8

Increase your canvas size (anchoring your image to the center) before doing your rotation.
